Eric Foster

Eric Foster is Chief Commercial Officer of Beam Therapeutics. Mr. Foster brings more than 25 years of global commercial leadership experience across biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations, with a strong track record of building high-performing teams, driving market development, and leading successful product launches in complex, rare disease, specialty, and immunology markets.

Prior to joining Beam, Mr. Foster served as Chief Commercial Officer at Ardelyx, where he led commercial strategy across sales, marketing, market access, patient services, pricing, and related investor responsibilities, and served as a member of the executive leadership team. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Horizon Therapeutics, later acquired by Amgen, including Senior Vice President and U.S. General Manager, where he led U.S. commercial operations for the KRYSTEXXA and TEPEZZA franchises. In that role, he oversaw two major businesses representing approximately $2.75 billion in net sales revenue, led marketing and sales organizations of more than 300 professionals, and managed end-to-end P&L responsibility and a significant annual budget.

He holds an M.B.A. from Auburn University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia.
