Position Overview:

As Associated Director, Marketing Operations, you will play an essential role in the operational leadership aspects of our Medical Review Committee (MRC) and Promotional Review Committee (PRC) as well as ensuring the excellence of our content approval process. You will collaborate closely with critical stakeholders such as Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, and Medical teams. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining an efficient, high-quality content approval process and ensuring alignment with business priorities. By leveraging data insights, you will track performance through KPIs and metrics, utilizing these insights for continuous improvement and elevating PRC and MRC process effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as operations lead for the MRC & PRC committees to drive alignment on both medical and promotional content review processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regulatory coordinator to ensure timely and compliant review of promotional materials, including HCP, payer, and patient-facing assets.
  • Manage critical systems supporting these processes such as Veeva Vault PromoMats and ensure system optimization for content approval workflows.
  • Coordinate with review stakeholders to facilitate in-person and online review of materials, including prioritization, consolidation of feedback, and alignment to referencing and editorial best practices.
  • Oversee inventory and fulfillment of professional and consumer selling materials: ensure field team has sufficient required selling materials; maintain standards and manage vendor relationships.
  • Oversee print production vendor selection and relationship management.
  • Manage all vendors and budget for marketing operations, inclusive of routing purchase orders and statements of work, tracking expenses and managing marketing operations budgets.
  • Support sales training operations to ensure field teams have access to and efficiently complete core sales training requirements.
  • Capture, analyze, and report on business metrics to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Medical Leadership to assess process effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure systems and platforms readiness to track key data and metrics for campaign effectiveness and measurement.

Required Skills:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 10 years pharmaceutical experience with 6+ years in promotional material review, marketing, medical, legal, and/or regulatory experience.
  • Experience with MLR technology system metrics and business reporting, especially Veeva.
  •  Strong understanding of high-quality promotional pharmaceutical content.
  •  Strategic understanding of market trends and content approval process evolution.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills with conflict management and negotiation experience.
  •  Ability to work with urgency and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and reporting on business metrics and KPIs.

 

The salary range below reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, scope of job, internal comparisons, and market data.

Beam Pay Range
$185,000$225,000 USD
